Construction

Electric hotplates with stepless power control with or without thermostatic control in robust design for continuous operation. The heating surface is made of aluminum alloy with good thermal conductivity; this is smooth, easy to clean, and anodized to improve the resistance of the surface to chemical and mechanical influences. Due to the long-term asymmetric heating system (plate corners and edges are more heated), a very even temperature distribution is achieved over the entire heating surface. The housing parts are made of stainless steel; the middle part is finished in orange. Four adjustable feet ensure extra stability. The approximately 1.7 m power cable is fitted with a Schuko plug on 230 V models rated up to 3300 W.

Furthermore, all hotplates are equipped with a safety temperature limiter; this switches the device permanently OFF at all poles if the safety temperature is exceeded (control range 30-110°C at approx. 130-140°C, control range of 50-300°C + 100-370°C at approx. 380°C). The protection can only be reactivated after cooling down and troubleshooting.
